Setting up a blow through I heard can be really difficult, rather with this, the carb is much easier to tune and theres no worries about referencing the fuel pump or anything. Down below is a picture of the setup the guy was running.

I'm looking for a turbo with the T04 flange on it. That Buick setup you used looks pretty slick. It looks like though you need a lot of hood clearance though.

As you'll see with the one I'm posting, it keeps the carb down lower. Its closer to the exhaust manifold which i don't like but i can make a heat shield. So how do I choose the right carb, and how do I make mine work? Should I go to a bigger carb rather than the cfm or Autolite 1. Should I move up to a 4bbl like the Autolite or Holley cfm?

I will probably want to keep pushing the motor past 9 psi as we all would lol. The turbo world is very new to me, I just don't want to destroy my lol. I have a ranger that this is going into. The ranger has a halfbreed of an engine at the moment. Weirdest setup I have ever seen. Purchased a 2. Just figured it would be easier keeping it carb since ranger already carb. Not to mention I don't know much about efi but have a lot of knowledge with carb. As for the fuel pump I have a efi sending unit that fits my tank and a walbro fuel pump but I thought this combo would be overkill.

Planning on running 7 psi when I first put motor in and then gradually working my way up to at the max. My turbo is a t3 from a Mustang GT. Now a bypass regulator means return style correct? Your welcome! Posts: 2, Quote: Originally posted by 88boostedranger: 2.
