I don't believe that the problem is with Net Nanny not totally anyway. I don't use Net Nanny or anything similar and my WeatherBug Gadget hasn't worked most of the time for the past two or three weeks. I use Office , IE8, Firefox 3. Not much else other than the basics.

On my notebook, I use: Windows 7 Professional bit and then all the other software listed for my desktop. WeatherBug just shows -- for all the values. I have noticed that when it quits working, if I remove it and then re-add it not uninstall , it cannot find any cities. But if I uninstall it and then reinstall it, it will again locate locations once again for a little while.
